This book was incredibly bad and even though I don't know where to begin, I'll start with the characters. Do I believe Lisa Barkley has a ok life on the east coastmarried to Sam for 15 years but
suspects him of cheating? Yes.She has a best friend Diedre Cushing who has a renewed interest in a ex-boyfriend Jack Handle .Do I believe she will ignore reason and see him again even though he is married?
Yes. This isn't all that complex of a character I mean lots of women suspect their husbands of cheating
and lots of people try to reignite feelings from an old flame. The way the author presents it doesn't make
me empathetic to them or give me a perspective I didn't think of before.The Lisa Barkley character is so
whiny! The imagery was o.k. nothing outstanding. The thing that bothers me the most is the plot.The author opens with the discovery of a dead body. So then we have to fight through these petty fights with this PTA
mom that has nothing to do with the dead body !We are lead to believe the evidence that Sam was having an
affair in the book,magically later he is totally absolved of that It's like giving us pieces to a toally diffrent puzzle and then asking us to use them anyway! I wouldn't check this out from the library I give it 1 out of 5 stars
